Who makes it, and what to know
Café is a brand of GE Appliances, which is owned by Haier and based in Louisville, Kentucky. It was a GE product line from 2007 and became a brand of its own in 2018, with its own store and its own warranty. The warranty is one year on the whole appliance, parts and labor. On Café's site it scores 4.0 out of 5 across 364 owner reviews, and 48 of those (13%) are one star. That is about one in eight. The one-star reviews we read describe dishes coming out dirty and wet. Café's reply is that it needs incoming water of at least 120 degrees to clean well, so check your water heater setting. You buy from Café's own store, so delivery, returns and the warranty are Café's.
