Who makes it, and what to know
Café is a brand of GE Appliances, which is owned by Haier and based in Louisville, Kentucky. It was a GE product line from 2007 and became a brand of its own in 2018, with its own store and its own warranty. On this toaster the warranty is one year on the whole appliance; Café's spec sheet lists parts and no separate labor cover. It is a 2026 model, so there is no long-term record yet: the 24 reviews on Café's site were all written in its first weeks, and Café marks every one as incentivized, meaning the reviewer received something for writing it. You buy from Café's own store, so delivery, returns and the warranty are Café's.
