KitchenAid is one of Whirlpool Corporation's brands. The warranty is one year, limited. KitchenAid's choice of remedy is a replacement or a repair, and the warranty starts on the delivery date when the product is delivered. The base is plastic, where the K400's is die-cast metal. KitchenAid's own store sells it with two 16-ounce personal jars; check what is in the box before you buy. “This blender is actually really good. Blends ice, fruits with no issues.”
“For the first 3-4 uses, on the highest setting, the noise level was nothing more than a smooth hum. It's gotten progressively louder, rivaling the ear splitting roar of a Ninja.”
