Who makes it, and what to know
Smeg is an Italian appliance maker based in Guastalla, near Reggio Emilia; Vittorio Bertazzoni founded it in 1948. Smeg USA's warranty is one full year from purchase, parts and labor. Smeg launched its small appliances in 2014. It is a 600-watt blender with presets for smoothies and crushed ice. The jug is Tritan plastic, and Smeg says half of that plastic is recycled. The links on this page go to Smeg's own US store, so delivery, returns and the warranty are Smeg's.
