Who makes it, and what to know
Smeg is an Italian appliance maker based in Guastalla, near Reggio Emilia; Vittorio Bertazzoni founded it in 1948. Smeg USA's warranty is one full year from purchase, parts and labor. Smeg launched its small appliances in 2014. Smeg says this machine is designed and made in Italy. It has no grinder, so you need ground coffee or a separate grinder. At under 6 inches wide it takes up very little counter. The links on this page go to Smeg's own US store, so delivery, returns and the warranty are Smeg's.
